After a long time, I've finally added nine ships and one battle station to my vast collection of Star Wars Ships and vehicles styled in the iconic CLONE WARS (2003) Art Style. I'm very fond of the four starships featured towards the end of the video. They are from the old Star Wars Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter Video Games. I never played them when I was younger, but I did get around to playing them now. Once I started playing them, I found them to be very enjoyable and liked how they had a lot of replay value with the bonus ships you can unlock. To pay tribute to those games, I chose to model 4 of the unique vessels that appear in those games. My favorite being the Havoc. I'm also happy with how the other ships, such as the Star Viper, E-wing, and Tie Defender, came out. However, the E-wing isn't quite as accurate as it should be. The original E-wing didn't have an astromech slot. Instead, it had a third cannon that went right over the canopy. This was a detail I felt was unnecessary, and I questioned how a pilot could open the canopy effectively without numbing or bending the barrel of the third cannon. So I removed it. The E-wing is still very accurate but has some creative licensing. This is the case for all of my models. None of them are 100% accurate. You could go through all of my models with a fine-toothed comb and fine inaccuracies all over them compared to the original models. But that's not the point of the models I make. I strive for some degree of accuracy, but I mostly try to make the ships I stylize "FEEL" like their non-stylized counterparts, if that makes sense. I hope you enjoy these additions to the ships I've already shown you. Please let me know which one is your favorite.
