[Rendered in 4K! Be sure to watch in 4K for the best resolution (click on gear icon to change)!] This "music video" features my 1/6 scale figure of Yae from Yae no Sakura. To see closeups and details of the figure, please watch the video through to the end. The figure in the video is modeled after Yamamoto Yae as she was portrayed in the NHK taiga drama Yae no Sakura (played by Ayase Haruka), and as she appeared during the Battle of Aizu (1868) episodes halfway through the series. The track from the show is called 輝かしい未来へのエール (Kagayakashī mirai e no ēru), literally "Yell for a bright future" or perhaps more poetically "A cry for a glorious/brilliant future." The phrase in hiragana that appears at the very beginning is "naranu koto wa naranu mono desu," which is a famous old Aizu saying that gets translated many ways: "that which must not be, shall not be," "do not do what you must not do," or more to the point "no means no." If you're interested in seeing how I put this figure together, and for more background on the history, please visit this forum here: https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.co...
