Descent G1 by garmin is a perfect entry level Dive computer , that does so so much more !! It will do everything an MK2 from Garmin does, just smaller. You give up color display, a few topo, and golf maps and minor fitness options .. but you get so much .. go to there website , click dive in the wearables section. Then click compare , and pick G1 and MK2 , see fir yourself! This video is about the navigation option. And it works great.. you can track yourself for the entire hike (this would use a-lot of battery) or you can mark a saved location, then turn GPS off , hike and get lost , turn back on GPS and use your saved location to get back!
