"Blender": A smart tool for empowering teachers in blended learning scenarios

"Blender" is a tool specifically tailored to the challenges of the blended learning model, based on edX LMS data. "Blender" processes this data into statistical values, analyzes it into textual insights and calls to action for the teachers to use in the classroom. This smart and friendly tool helps the teacher to understand the students learning processes within the online system and provides an overview of the learning process based on relevant data. In this way, "Blender" empowers teachers, places them in a safer and better position in front of the class and allows them to focus on the art of teaching. After all, even with the best technology, there is no substitute for great teachers. The tool was developed in collaboration between Mindcet (Center for innovation and technological development in education, founded by the Center for Educational Technology – CET) and Campus-IL (Israel’s national digital learning venture, Digital Israel, in the Ministry of Social Equality).
