Fenelon Falls is a scenic drive of about 159 kms from Toronto. It is a part of city of Kwartha Lakes. Its nick named as the Jewel of the Kawarthas. Fenelon Falls is home to lock 34 on Trent Severn Waterways between Sturgeon Lake and Cameron Lake. It is a must visit tourist destination. Bobcaygeon is about 164 kms from Toronto. Bobcaygeon was incorporated as a village in 1876 & became the hub of the Kawarthas. The first lock in the Trent Severn Waterways was built in 1833 in Bobcaygeon. The town is situated on three islands along with the mainland. Bobcaygeon chief industry is tourism, particularly related to re creational fishing. Kawartha Dairy Company is a Canadian family owned and operated dairy based in Bobcaygeon, Ontario in the City of Kawartha Lakes. The company was founded in 1937 and it remains family owned.
