Durability is shown visually through NIF files using 3D models, sequences, and particles, while damage and protection are calculated dynamically based on the current state of the gear. This video presents the idea, illustrating how equipment could degrade and how even NPCs or custom creatures might be affected, potentially influencing battle outcomes depending on the quality and condition of their gear.
