In this video, we explain using a laser or cutting out the mole (excision) to remove your facial face mole. Mole Removal can be done both ways. Here are the things to know. The laser can remove your mole and involve only the immediate mole and not much around the mole. The healing after laser mole removal can take longer and require more cleaning. The benefit is not requiring a long incision to take out the mole. The results with laser mole removal has the potential to be a lot better than excision. Some results are so imperceptible that it is hard to pick out when looking at it closely. Excision or removing the mole through cutting can allow you to get a pathological diagnosis while lasers cannot. Excision usually requires you to use an incision that is 2 times longer than the mole's longest dimension. Excision also requires suturing and removing the sutures about 6-7 days later.
