Mariupol's mayor has accused Russian soldiers of burying citizens to hide war crimes in a mass grave recently discovered by satellite data near the beleaguered Ukrainian city. According to Maxar Technologies, the mass burial was discovered on the northern outskirts of Manhush, roughly 12 miles west of Mariupol. More than 200 additional graves have been added to the cemetery's four parts of linear rows, which measure around 85 meters in length each. Images acquired between mid-March and mid-April by Maxar reveal that the new graveyard started expanding on March 23-26, according to Maxar. It went on to say that the graves had grown in size during the previous two weeks. The photographs back up claims made by the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, that Russian forces buried hundreds of people in enormous trenches near Manhush.
