The three musicians have been playing together for over 25 years in various ensembles, and released an acclaimed trio record in 2018 entitled “You”. They have most recently toured Denmark, Finland, Estonia, and Lativa in the spring of 2022, and have also performed in the U.S. and Japan. Their music blends Nordic jazz sensibilities with a strong sense of swing. The trio are recording a new album in Austin focusing on Americana standards (Hank Williams, Howlin’ Wolf, Ledbelly, etc). They are joined for the Monk’s show with Chicago born guitarist Jon Lundbom and Austin bassist Ryan Hagler.
