My name is Gary and I'm here at Joe's Hydro with The Roots Organic Green Light - OUT OF THE BAG!! Green Light contains added Perlite and Pumice to help increase drainage and improve oxygen availability to the root zone. This is the perfect mix for indoor gardens. With higher drainage capabilities in your root zone, you have more control on how much oxygen gets to your roots as well as how often they get fed. This gives the gardener more control on whats happening in their pots. Faster draining mixes can also act as a preventative for pest control. When plants are over watered and are not allowed to drain properly it causes conditions for diseases and pests to thrive. With the added perlite this will help get that valuable oxygen to the root zone while keeping nutrients available and aerobic. Aside from perlite this mix also contains peat moss, composted forest material, coco fiber, worm castings, bat guano, soybeen meal, fish bone meal, fish meal, and kelp meal.
