When most people think of Nazare, they think of its massive waves. It’s the big wave capital of the world, and for good reason! This is all great, but we are a food based YouTube account. With that in mind, I searched through YouTube for Nazare food tours and didn’t find much at all. I knew this video would potentially be helpful to a hungry traveler looking to find great food in this small village! First Restaurant - Taberna d'Adelia - R. das Traineiras 12, 2450-196 Nazaré, Portugal - What a truly special restaurant! Just steps from the beach, and a very traditional feeling ambiance. You really can’t go wrong with seafood here. The casseroles, stews, and mackerel were all spectacular! This was probably the best meal I had in Nazare! Second restaurant - Taberninha - R. das Traineiras 5, 2450-106 Nazaré, Portugal - This place is right next door to Taberna d'Adelia. We just stumbled upon it, and saw the food at somebody’s table outside… it looked great! We decided to try and we’re not dissatisfied. The sardines were 100% my favorite dish I had in Nazare.
