This is quite simply a short video of at least 2 or 3 Male Bullfinches and 1 Female Bullfinch feeding on what appears to be scattered wild birdseed, sunflower seed and/or 'Finch food'. Their diet is mainly seeds and the buds of fruit trees, which can make it a pest in orchards and fruit crops. These Finches are a shy and secretive bird and difficult to get close to, so this was as good as I have seen Bullfinch up close for so long. (You can hear a Nuthatch calling in the background too) As can be seen - The Bullfinch is a bulky bull-headed bird. The upper parts are grey; the flight feathers and short thick bill are black; as are the cap and face in adults, and the white rump and wing bars are striking in flight.
