It is time to see if the vvt and dod delete are going to work. We spent a lot of time putting this engine together and in this video we install several more new parts. A new water pump, Longtube headers, New intake gaskets, new spark plugs, etc. Lots of new stuff has went on this little 5.3. It is time to see if it will fire up. After getting the engine in with new mounts we double check all of our connections to make sure all is good. This is really not a bad job but is time consuming and does take a few extra tools to get it accomplished. I still think I like to work on the motors out of the vehicles. It makes it so much easier to clean parts and install without bending over the fender. We have more to come on this install but wanted to hear it run for the installation video.
