Chasing NS 6920 down the Lurgan Branch

On May 1, 2015, in preparation for National Train Day, Norfolk Southern operated a special train from Altoona, PA to Spencer, NC consisting of the 'Honoring Our Veterans' unit, SD60E #6920, the NS Exhibit Car and three of the company's passenger cars. The route of this train took it eastbound across the Middle Division from Altoona to Harrisburg, where it received a new crew and, presumably, fuel, before continuing south (railroad west) on the former Reading Railroad Lurgan Branch. In this video, we chase the train from Boiling Springs all the way to the Maryland Line. While clouds dominated the northern part of the route, further south, the sun began to break out, making for some nice scenes. Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
