Just get into that "sweet spot" and stand still, waiting for Lazarevic to grab you. Press square to punch him in the face and wait for the resin to grow back and shoot it to hit Lazarevic. If you stay close to Lazarevic and close to the resin tree he will not shoot you, punch you or throw grenades at you. VERY IMPORTANT: Don't get too far from the resin tree or from the lake, or Lazarevic will be able to toss you away. I found this trick by myself, after 30 or more failed attempts of defeating Lazarevic on Hard (on my first playthrough). I also tested this method in chapter select in both Crushing and Hard difficulties. Thanks to Naughty Dog for this incredible game
