Weird Bloom is a collaboration between painter Anna Maria Schoenrock, musician Fred Hellmann and Felicia Fuchs - a 3D Motion Designer. The project was born out of a fundamental question: how can we create content that is both meaningful and relevant in the field of motion design, especially given the saturation of platforms like Midjouney and IG, where Motion Design often appears to cyclically replicate itself? Weird Bloom is a film about selfdoubt, imposter-syndrom and the feeling of not quite fitting in. The diploma project in the Motion Design course at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg was supervised by Alexander Hanowski and Prof. Dr. Heike Sperling.
