In this video, I’ll show you how to make crispy, airy, no-knead baguettes at home — simple ingredients, no mixer, and no kneading required. Follow along as I guide you through each step from mixing to baking, with plenty of tips to help you get that perfect golden crust and soft, open crumb. 🧾 Ingredients: • 700g all-purpose flour • 520g room temperature water • 8g salt • 3g instant yeast 👨🍳 Method: • Mix flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl • Add water and combine until a shaggy dough forms • Rest the dough for 30 minutes, then fold it gently with wet hands • Repeat resting and folding once more after another 30 minutes • After folding, let it rest for 45 minutes (bulk fermentation continues) • Divide dough into 4 equal pieces on a floured surface • Preshape each piece and let them rest for 10 minutes • Shape into baguettes and proof seam-side down for 40 minutes • Preheat oven to 210°C (with a tray for steam at the bottom) • Add boiling water to the bottom tray 10 minutes before baking • Spray the tops of baguettes with water and score them • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and crusty 💡 Notes & Tips: • Steam in the oven is key to getting that crispy crust — don’t skip it! • Be gentle with the dough to keep the structure airy and open • Use a sharp blade or lame to score the top just before baking • You can store the baguettes wrapped in a towel, or freeze them once cool If you enjoy baking at home and want more no-knead bread recipes, make sure to check out the full playlist on the channel. 👉 Don’t forget to like the video, leave a comment if you have any questions, and subscribe for more simple homemade bread and pizza recipes every week!
