Birchover Walk

Todays hike started on the village of Birchover, from where I headed straight to explore Rowter Rocks, I was quite surprised at just how much there was to explore there and as such, got quite a bit of footage before moving on with the route. Next up was a hermit's cave and then Robin Hood's stride, a rock formation as I walked along the route of the Limestone Way. I then joined the pretty River Bradford for a short while before diverting over towards Lathkill Dale. I then followed the River Lathkill all the way to Alport on a stunning section of today's walk. From Alport I followed the trails round to Stanton-in-Peak and then on to Stanton Moor where there is plenty to see. The nine-Ladies stone circle, the trig point up top and ending with the Cork Stone which was great fun scrambling up. From there it was a short trek back to where I started in Birchover.
