This is a crazy amount of potatoes! Today we share how we fenced in an acre, got a new tiller for the tractor, and planted the biggest potato patch we've ever grown. So we dug almost 1/3 a mile worth of trenches with rakes, shovels, a push plow and some grub hoes. At long last, we got all our potatoes planted. We put a total of 198lbs of potato tubers in the ground. What a blast! Hoping for the best this year, as potatoes have never been a great crop for us here. We used a Cherokee MRT-063 6' tiller on our Kubota L2401 tractor to make our potato patch, and it really worked well.
