During the journey, the Kombi started to overheat and we had to stop twice to wait for the engine to cool down. At the gas station in Ribeirão Preto, a mechanic diagnosed problems that seemed to be related to the temperature sensor and the water pump, but the problem persisted. The next day, the Kombi traveled less than 2 km before overheating again and presenting a leak in the cooling system, leading to a possible problem with the cylinder head. We activated the insurance and were towed to the mechanic's shop, who was willing to help us while he worked on solving the unexpected problem.
