So, here Paul details yet another blessing/benefit that we have because of the grace we have received from Christ - we are His sons and daughters! Christ does not just haul us out of the pit of our sinfulness, He does not just save us from eternity in hell - He places us in His family. What does being a child of God mean? We have access to Him. We can call on Him, like a child would call out to a loving earthly father for help. Not only that - we are heirs of Christ. We are set to inherit a future that we can hardly even begin to fathom. He will be our God and we will be His people, for eternity, in a place that has been prepared for us.
