Milky Chance - The Lost Songs [Unofficial Album]

Following the release of their breakthrough debut album, Milky Chance hit the road for a long series of tours in Europe, North America and Australia. They even made a few stops in South Africa. However, this demanding touring life did not stifle their creativity. On the road, they wrote several new songs that were played live and were originally supposed to be included on their sophomore album. However, only two of these songs were ever released as studio recordings, and only one is currently available on streaming services (due to popular demand). The rest of the songs were never properly released or recorded, and disappeared from Milky Chance's touring setlist after their 2016 summer tour. Since many of these tracks are true masterpieces and don't deserve to be lost, I have mastered the available recordings and have done my best to assemble them into an album. This project is meant to sound, feel, and flow like a proper album. Though most of the tracks are live recordings, I have tried to make them sound as 'studio' as possible and weave them together them best I could. I am aware that "Unknown Song" is not really a 'lost song' anymore since it was released on streaming services in 2022, but for a long time it was. I decided to included it anyways because it shares the same sound and comes from the same time period as the other tracks: in my mind, it will always belong in the same category. It's also arguably the strongest track on this album. This is a fan-made project and is not monetized. No profits are being collected. My intent is not to violate copyright rules but to add to the Milky Chance community. Thanks for listening!
