"Welcome Me" is the second single from our upcoming debut EP. From a dystopian stance, the song continues to explore the philosophical theme of the EP: that there is no progress without war, and the unfortunate reality this brings. "Welcome Me" delves into the inner workings of the mind. Written with egocentric megalomania and, arguably, psychotic language choices, the lyrics depict an aggressive inner monologue centered on rebuilding one's ego. Whether it’s walking into a Monday meeting, hitting the gym, or picking oneself up after a rough day, "Welcome Me" is something we can all relate to. It captures the need to be heard and the thought processes we undergo to overcome unwelcome tasks. Musically, "Welcome Me" was crafted with a simple goal: to blend old-school death metal with modern death metal and deathcore. Heavy verses, melodic choruses, and nasty breakdowns dominate the track. It’s stabby, packed with double bass, and features contextually epic drum fills that set the pace for what is truly a song to feed the ego.
