This video is for anyone who wants to upgrade their condenser microphone, or simply needs to swap out the capsule. Filmed in 4K (UHD). For well under two-hundred dollars, I was able to upgrade my BlueBird condenser microphone to make it sound comparable to microphones that cost several times more. You can get the RK-47 here... https://microphone-parts.com/products... Annotated Correction : DO NOT REMOVE OLD WIRES FROM CAPSULE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT! Cut them instead. This will make it so you can use the old capsule on other projects later down the road. (a couple of weeks after the swap) I will say that although I prefer the lows on the Blue, the noise has dropped drastically since the change to the RK-47. It has a flatter frequency response, and seems to clip a lot less. If you prefer the Bluebird capsule, you know how to change it back :) Always be safe when working with electronics.
