Loose Ends Before the New Panel | Mooney Mustang M22 Project

In this episode of the Mooney Mustang M22 project, I take care of some loose ends before the new avionics panel goes in. After removing the vacuum system, autopilot components, and a surprising amount of old wiring in previous videos, there were still a few things hiding in the airplane. In this video I pull out additional cabling, coax lines, and antennas that were left behind from decades of avionics upgrades. It's amazing how much equipment accumulates in an airplane over the years — and how much of it is no longer doing anything. Cleaning all of this out is an important step before installing the new avionics panel, which will completely modernize the cockpit. I also talk a bit about the future plans for the Mustang, and what direction I’m taking with the new panel and avionics layout.
