This video is geared for those of you who are interested in buying a HDSLR shoulder rig but don't know much about what is needed. Since this video was produced in 2013, some of the equipment is a little outdated, but the exact same types of components are still needed today, so this video is still relevant for its intended purpose. Basically, this is for newbies to HDSLR shoulder rigs who have their eye on someday going pro. I take you through the major components of a shoulder rig, and give a few quick tips about getting the most for your money. My rig includes parts by Konova, Lanparte, Giottos, Ruige, Marshall Monitors, Zoom, and Tascam. If you look closely, you will also see support systems from Kessler Crane and Manfrotto. My camera in the rig is the Canon 5d Mark III. I do not have any sponsorships at this point, but I would love to be sponsored, especially by Lanparte or Kessler Crane.
