Part of our 2023 European Roadtrip. We stayed one night in Igls then headed south along local roads to join the Autobahn at Statz.... through the Brenner Pass and down to Verona. A fantastic narrow, twisting, precipitous road.... some amazing scenery and lovely small villages. I just kept the best bits but it's still 24 minutes long. Excuse me constantly saying wow... but that's how it was !! and me coughing... hay Fever kicking in a bit lol The motorway E45 (European designation; in Italy A22, in Austria the A13), Brenner Autobahn/Autostrada del Brennero, begins in Innsbruck, runs through the Brenner Pass, Bozen/Bolzano, Verona and finishes outside Modena. It is one of the most important routes of north–south connections in Europe.
