Sorry the video's so long, I wanted to make a follow-up video to my inquisitor camp solo guide for a long time but ended up waiting for the "full release" of the game. Pax Dei has changed a lot since then so I had a lot to yap about and I appreciate you all putting up with my rambling. If you wanna just see the builds I recommend skip to the end where I go over the armor you should pair with each weapon type. Timestamps should be included so feel free to skip ahead to that. Thanks for watching! Some helpful links that I mentioned: Database wiki with interactable map: https: //paxdei.gaming.tools/ Official Discord: https: //discord.gg/paxdei A FEW CORRECTIONS: I actually now think armor works differently than I remember, you now have flat resistance values that all of your equipped armor contributes to and resist hits regardless of where they hit you. I've definitely been hit in the head with an arrow for the same amount as when I was shot in the chest which to me is conclusive enough proof of this. Light armor is not USELESS I just think that heavy armor is MORE USEFUL early on when you're learning the combat. Light armor is actually extremely powerful for this build which is something I plan to go over in the next video. I still definitely recommend sticking to heavy armor while learning the game and then experimenting further with different pieces if you want to. Still having trouble making sword and shield feel like as good of a build as sylvan staff or 2h spear. Idk I really want it to work because the silence is very strong, I just don't think it's for me. But if you try it and like it, it should be very useful, especially against Zebians later. Not all the pulls and roots are the same. I tried the pull that you get on a heavy chest and it doesn't interrupt. The pull and root from greathammer doesn't seem to either. In these two cases the enemy will simply finish the cast anyway, probably because the time spent being interrupted isn't long enough for the cast to cancel? Not really sure. So the only options I can see working as interrupts are 1h swords, 1h mace stuns, and 2h spear. Gold is also useful for recharging your Grace, which you primarily use for fast traveling to different Petra Dei that you've unlocked in each home valley zone. I should have gone over this because imo it's the primary reason to farm camps like these in the home valleys, but if you want to know more I encourage people to go to the official discord and ask us for more info in the general chat channels. Thanks!
