Coastal Walks and the Beautiful Town of Barneville-Carteret Normandy France - Seas The Day (Ep48)

We finally got that photo...what photo I hear you ask? The kestrel! Yes, we were out having a lovely walk/hobble depending who you're speaking to when we noticed off the coast a kestrel hovering for its dinner. Matt finally got the photo so take a look at the links below to see the photo. This week we took a trip to the coast to a beautiful town called Barneville Carteret which is along the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula. This little seaside town was a typical tourist spot but as we are now out of season most of it was shut up. We enjoyed a wander around the town anyway. From here, we drove to a couple of beaches, normally we would have walked, but if you have watched last weeks episode, you would have seen that Matt has recently fractured his ankle. These beaches were stunning, and we are in hindsight quite glad we drove because they quite a trek down very narrow coastal paths.
