Nation remembers Kalyan Singh; Thousands gather up to pay their last respects

At the Narora Ghat in Bulandshahr on Monday, the mortal remains of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh were consigned to flames with full state honours. Singh was heading the state government during the demolition of the Babri Masjid in December 1992. He passed away at the age of 89 on Saturday in Lucknow after suffering from prolonged illness. On Sunday evening, the mortal remains of the late leader were brought to the Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar Stadium through an air ambulance from Lucknow. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken charge of Singh's last journey. Thousands of people gathered up to pay their last respects and cries of 'Jai Shree Ram' and 'Babu Ji Amar Rahen' filled the air. Watch!
