Clearing Dead Birch Trees | Winter Work on the Farm

Another winter day on the farm getting some cleanup done. I started by tuning up the chainsaw and putting a new blade on before pulling the Kubota out to plow the snow in front of the barn. After that, I worked on cutting down more dead birch trees that were hanging over the lane. I grabbed the trailer and kept cutting up trees in the windbreak between the lane and the blueberry field — the same area where the birch trees were coming down. I also trimmed up a pine tree that was blocking an entrance to the field and finished the day by piling everything up and burning it. Nothing fancy — just another winter day focused on cleanup and making steady progress around the farm.
