This video explains the K-Laser Blue Derma mechanism of action on vascular lesions. Superficial vascular lesions are common on the face and other body parts. They are called telangiectasia, rosacea, angioma, spider veins or others. It is possible to treat them with lasers. When exposed to blue laser light, photons of the laser beam are absorbed by the haemoglobin pigment in the superficial blood vessels visible on the skin. Immediately after coagulation occurs, red blood cells die and the blood vessel degenerates, revealing a more uniform skin tone. As the blue wavelength is not absorbed by the water of the blood vessel, then less thermal damage is expected. The treatment does not require local anaesthetic or use of a cooling system on the skin.
