In today's video, I show you how to make a quick and easy beaded shamrock! They're so quick to whip up, I didn't even need to speed the video up at all :D Using a style of bead weaving called Peyote, make your own shamrock to make sure you don't get pinched on Thursday. Perfect for pendants or earrings, and you can make it in whichever size seed beads you want to! In this tutorial, I use size 8 seed beads as it's easier for you to see, but I have also made these using size 10 seed beads and it still works a treat. "Born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century, he was kidnapped at the age of 16 and taken to Ireland as a slave. He escaped but returned about 432 to convert the Irish to Christianity. By the time of his death on March 17, 461, he had established monasteries, churches, and schools. Many legends grew up around him—for example, that he drove the snakes out of Ireland and used the shamrock to explain the Trinity. Ireland came to celebrate his day with religious services and feasts." Source: http://www.britannica.com/topic/Saint...
