I have 30 rentals and have refinanced many of them to pull cash out to buy more properties or invest in my flipping business. When you do 20 to 30 flips a year it takes a lot of cash even with financing. I put this video together to show how a cash out finance worked on a rental I bought in 2012 and refinanced in 2015. I bought the property for $109,000 with 20 percent down, but ended up getting a $143,000 loan a couple of years later and got all my cash back out plus some.
