I Obtained Blood Torva! - Awakened Boss Breakdowns & DT2 Discussion

This is the most fun I've had playing OSRS since getting into PvM. F.A.Q is below to help answer some things! Click below for more info! Awakened Bosses are "hard mode" versions of the normal DT2 Bosses. They have ~2x damage & HP, as well as more mechanics. Right now they're the hardest base content in game, and I would go as far as to say that they require a higher quality of pure mechanical skill than even many speedruns - although speedruns have a different skillset that are much more complex than just mechanical skill. F.A.Q from common stream questions: Q: Why not x/y/z item instead of what you're using? A: Awakened bosses have different stats and cannot have defence reduced. Q: Why not ely/tank gear? A: These bosses have too high accuracy/damage to tank. You need to play near-perfect and flick correctly/not take damage via movement/action rather than hoping to tank. Q: Why not use x/y/z method (e.g double rockfall Lev) A: I like to play my own way, and I determined many methods such as 2x rockfalling Lev don't truly impact the overall success rate much. If i was to redo this and refine strategy/tactics over time then I would 100% incorporate those methods. Considering this was a day 1 endeavour many of my methods are not going to be meta. Q: Why not use menaphite remedy/pneck A: Pneck I actually found useful at Lev, while remedy was very hit and miss depending on the bossess. It's probably a safe bet that for some setups they can play a part, but since this is such high tier content, it's likely each player attempting this should also tailor their setup to match their strengths and weaknessess.
