This is my compilation of John Barry's score to Somewhere In Time. Listed below are the tracks I used, in order. 1 - The Old Woman (This is the first real score from the film. I found playing the theme in the beginning to be too overbearing as you will be hearing it a lot.) 2 - The Journey Back In Time (Lush John Barry strings to accompany the journey, the struggle and stress that comes with Time Travel.) 3 - A Day Together (You get a fun little theme here and a variation on the theme. Again, didn't want to throw this at you too often.) 4 - Rhapsody On a Theme of Paganini (This music is featured as the classical piece that brings theme together. Odd little thing that she love this piece when she is the one who introduces it to him in the future, who hums it for her in the past so that she can fall in love with it and introduce it to him in the future...) 5 - The Man of My Dreams (Featured when she makes her impromptu speech on love, I found her words entrancing.) "The man of my dreams has almost faded now. The one I have created in my mind. The sort of man each woman dreams of in the deepest, most secret reaches of her heart. I can almost see him now before me. What would I say to him if he were really here? Forgive me, I've never known this feeling. I've lived without it all my life. Is it any wonder then I fail to recognize you? You brought it to me for the first time. Is there any way that I can tell you how my life has changed? Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me. There is so much to say, I cannot find the words except for these: I love you. 6 - Theme from "Somewhere In Time" (Well, here it is. The theme in it's full glory. I went with this version because of the swell of strings at the end. Also, I am partial to the piano.) I do not own copyright on any of the music from Somewhere In Time, only ownership of this suite. Purchase Somewhere In Time by John Barry on iTunes if you liked the score. I learned to play this on piano after a few sittings and fell in love with the rest of the score shortly after. If you are a fan of John Barry, this score is a must.
