Repaired & Rebuilt DYS BLG3SN Gimbal with STorM32-BGC Gimbal Controller and BT module Recently I sold a Storm32 Gimbal Controller and I was asked to install and set it up, in a dead DYS Gimbal purchased online… This is not the first DYS Gimbal I am building, but it is the worst I have ever imagined :( Some of the gimbal parts are wrong because they cannot slide freely for balancing. All three DYS BGM4108-130 are probably counterfeit products since the electrical characteristics are totally different from the DYS specification. Most Gimbal Controllers require brushless motors with Ri = 10 Ohms or more, for good results. DYS specification for BGM4108-130 motors specify 15.5 Ohms but all 3 motors (marked DYS) have only 8.9 Ohms which caused me a lot of troubles to setup properly this gimbal. I had to replace all the external wires which were very thin (0.5A max.) and low quality. I also had to re-solder all the internal wires which were literally “in the air’. After many hours of setup fiddling, I have managed to find a compromise solution with everything working using for RC Gimbal Control a FrSky Taranis Transmitter, X8R Receiver - SBUS and 6 channels.
