This video goes through the process of building a crate from scratch using yardsticks and decorating it to resemble a Wayfair crate for a lot less money. To build the crate: I used 6 yardsticks to cut: 6 pieces, 14" in length and 6 pieces, 12" in length. You also need 4 pieces, 7" in length to put in the corners of the crate, use either square or triangular pieces. For the bottom, use one piece of 1/4" wood, cut to 12"x14" To paint the crate: Waverly chalk paint: white and pumpkin Stain used: Minwax Provincial color Cricut vinyl used: white, orange and brown colors Fonts used: Magnolia Sky, Algerian and Cabbagetown.
