An exclusive workshop in which, Alesandra Seutin who is part of Germaine acogny's Transmission project, gave an introduction to the principles of the Acogny Technique and shared to the UK & international dancers the amazing characteristics this technique has to offer. Germaine Acogny Technique is based on traditional African dance (especially Senegal and Benin) and Western dance techniques (classical ballet, Limon and Graham techniques). The Germaine Acogny Technique is the only codified Contemporary African Dance technique. Alesandra focused on the freedom of the body through discipline within their own identity, resulting in a dynamic class, with a joyful vibe and high intensity percussion.
