A winter landscape photography trip to Death Valley National Park has quickly become a yearly tradition for me. This year, two of my close friends and I make the trip back to Death Valley to explore and create new work for 2023. The desert landscape there is something that I have quickly grown to love and each year I visit, I enjoy seeing how the park continues to change from the harsh weather that it is known for. It is a fairly easy trip for the winter, since there is no winterizing of my van that I need to do. That makes it a very attractive option to beat the cold for a few days and enjoy meandering the desert in search of arid beauty. This year we had to brave one of the toughest weather systems that Northern California has had in recent memory. Join me for the adventure in part 1 of this video series!
