Join me and hop on this walk through the Grugapark Essen on a sunny summer day. On this tour I walked parts of the park, so there is much more to explore. Grugapark is an enclosed city park with an admission fee needed to be paid to enter the park during peak times. In return, visitors get a whole lot to experience. Among others, its botanical garden is outstanding in the area. Adding to that, several playgrounds, lakes and open meadows complete the elements the park has to offer. For an extra ticket fee, parkgoers can use the Grugabahn to get around. The Grugabahn is a small tram for transportation through, but only within the park.
