This is my first look at the Bestechman Cicada Wing knife. This model has purple G10 handles with a crossbar lock. Price I paid for this: $49.90 The blade steel is 10Cr15MoV steel (for more on that check out @KnifeSteelNerds ). Specs for the knife from @knifecenter Blade Length: 3.15" Cutting Edge: 2.99" Closed Length: 4.06" Overall Length: 7.21" Blade Material: 10Cr15CoMoV Stainless Steel Blade Thickness: 0.091" Blade Hardness: 59-61 HRC Blade Style: Reverse Tanto Blade Grind: Flat Blade Finish: Black Handle Material: Purple G10 Locking Mechanism: B-Lock (Crossbar Lock) Pocket Clip: Deep Carry Stainless Steel (Tip-Up, Right/Left Carry) Weight: 2.12 oz. Made in China This knife has a black finish that has a bit of a texture to it. Not sure how I feel about that finish yet. It looks SUPER good, but the texture to the finish seems to affect the performance a bit on the initial cutting test. On one hand, the edge is super sharp and the blade geometry seems it would lend to really good cutting/slicing. I can't wait to see how this works in the 2-week carry trial.
