First Day Clearing Our New Property | Tractor, Chainsaw & Brush Hog (Part 1)

We recently bought a new piece of property that has two run-down houses and a huge amount of overgrown trees and brush. Before we can do anything with the land, it needs a serious cleanup. In this video I brought the tractor out for the first time and started the process of reclaiming the property. The first step was tackling a large cedar tree with the chainsaw, then using the brush hog to knock down heavy overgrowth. After that, the grapple on the tractor made it easier to grab and move piles of brush while opening up parts of the property that haven’t been maintained in years. This is Part 1 of a series where we’ll be clearing the land, exploring the property, and figuring out what to do with the two old houses. There’s a lot of work ahead, but it’s always satisfying to watch an overgrown property start to come back to life.
