This video explains the concept of liquidity pools, which are used in decentralized finance (DeFi) to facilitate the swapping of assets at an agreed upon price. These pools are funded by liquidity providers and use automated market makers (AMMs) to maintain the supply and demand equilibrium, enabling peer-to-peer or peer-to-contract trading without the need for a traditional third-party intermediary or counterparty.
