Ferragosto (August Public Holiday) is the busiest time of year on the Amalfi Coast. It feels like most of Italy has flocked to the coast for some beach time. This year, due to Covid the Ferragosto festivities were all cancelled. So I have added footage from the end of a previous years fireworks display at the end of this video. I drive up to Nocelle and just walked up the mountain from the top of the village. We visited Capitan Cook Beach resort in Massa Lubrense. This is a private beach club so if you go in the day time you have to rent sun loungers and umbrellas. They also have a restaurant for lunch.
