For the newly crowned Miss South Africa, Navi Nokeri, Day Three of her Homecoming tour was the most special. It was the day she returned to her home village, Gabazain Tzaneen. As she explained "It's where I was born and raised; where I grew up. And so while the Homecoming tour was built around her visiting her home province, Limpopo; Day Three took her home to the place she regards as "where I am from. It was a special moment for the community and also for both Ndavi and her family. The Nokeri family is large, close-knit and close. Her biggest supporters are her pastor parents, Moses and Betty, her brothers Ntwanano and Nyiko and her sisters Fanisa, Cindy, Molcy and Vutchilo. In her own words: "I come from a really big family. Being the youngest child, I could draw so much from my siblings and the different strengths that they possess. I believe this greatly influenced the woman that I am today a fearless woman of faith, compassion, strength, confidence and resilience." There were heartwarming messages from her family. And so it was with pride that she returned to her village to greet the elders, and thank her neighbours for their unwavering support of her and her beloved family.
