Decklist: https://scryfall.com/@theeric/decks/1... Removal heavy Mardu Midrange featuring Goliath Daydreamer and some cute synergies to go along with it. OVERALL RECORD SPOILERS AHEAD 4 matches on video with an overall 2-2 record! Could be worse! Good variety of matches, too. Predictably, Goliath Daydreamer did not look playable. 4 mana do nothing creature that doesn't win the game if you untap with it. Maybe if there was like a 4 mana sorcery that said "Deal 10 damage to target player" that you could copy and hold up a spell pierce in the process? Like something that did legitimately just end the game? Beyond that, the deck looked... OK. A good showcase of win-cons being better than answers in the case of the Mono G landfall matchup. Good grind from Haliya in the Izzets Lessons matchup. Made our Simic Cub opponent scoop the match after game 1, probably realizing we had a playset of Split Up in the list. And finally, kind of having a non-match against Dimir Doomsday. All in all, this kind of Mardu Burn/Midrange style could have legs in the future, maybe simply with the inclusion of another decent card advantage piece over the Daydreamer (Legend of Roku?) and cut the cute stuff (Authority of the Consuls +Split Up + Push/Pull Package) for more maindeck threats (maybe some kind of Annex/Demon package could work?) Anyway, thanks for watching! If you'd like to see me build around a certain card or try out a new idea, leave a comment. Happy to explore new builds if I have the cards for it. If I don't have the wildcards and you'd like to help build up my MTGA collection or if you just like my content and want to support the channel, feel free to venmo me at venmo.com/theericmtg (@theericmtg). 4 Rare wildcards costs $10 or so, so trying out a bunch of different stuff can add up. No pressure! Just happy to have you watching. 2:39 Match 1: Mono G Landfall 19:59 Match 2: Izzet Lessons 38:32 Match 3: Simic Cub 44:00 Match 4: Dimir Doomsday
