Hearkening back to his years growing up in wintery New England with his younger brother Rob, Tom Sheckler is a singer-songwriter with a sentimental attachment to Christmas. On “Christmas Wishes,” the Scheckler Brothers new holiday single, their mission seems to be taking listener's back to that golden time of his youth, with a classic 60's pop sound. As kids, they had first been inspired by the Beatles performing on the Ed Sullivan television show, and the idea of the Scheckler Brothers was planted in their minds on that very night. They have performed and recorded together as the Scheckler Brothers ever since, Tom on guitar and vocals, and Rob on drums. Their music is naturally reminiscent of artists like the Beatles, and Elvis Presley. “Christmas Wishes” is the title track from their new EP released to Spotify on December 2, 2024. It was produced by EJ McCloud at Black Sparrow Studio in North Port, Florida, with guest vocalist Savannah Brady.
