4 Days Alone Extreme Winter Survival in Heavy Snow | in a Fallen Tree at -21°C - Catch & Cook This journey was one of the most unique and challenging experiences I’ve ever had in nature… Four days completely alone, deep in a cold and silent forest — where only the sound of the wind, snow, and crackling fire kept me company. On the first day, I built a temporary shelter inside the hollow trunk of an old, fallen tree and spent the night surrounded by silence, owls, and the biting cold of winter. But on the second day, things didn’t go as planned — a sudden snowstorm arrived earlier than expected, and the forest turned wild and white. To survive the storm, I took shelter under the thick branches of a tree and built a small tarp shelter to stay safe from the freezing wind and snow. By the third day, heavy snow had covered the entire forest. I trekked through deep snow into the heart of the wilderness — where the silence, depth, and power of nature could truly be felt. Between two tall trees, I built another shelter and ended the day beside the warm glow of the fire and the gentle sound of falling snow. Finally, on the fourth day — after three long, cold, and adventurous nights — I returned to my first campsite. My simple shelter stood there, covered in snow, like a peaceful winter dream waiting for me to come back. With all the thrill and excitement within me, I can say that my life in the wild, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, is filled with unforgettable experiences.
