Rating All My Student & Artist Grade Basic Palettes- Which Is The Best??

Those are sets that are offered by brands with a selection of mostly standard and traditional colors. I obviously have tons more watercolors, but they were bought open stock. The goal of this video is to help you decide which set is right for you, if you are looking to start painting with watercolors, or upgrade to artist grade. Once you have a good basic artist grade set you're happy with, I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying any additional basic sets, for reasons explained in the video and in the shopping guide you can recieve if you sign up for my newsletter. BOTTOM LINE- My top recommendation for a STARTER SET is a 24 half pan set in a metal tin. Most brands offer such sets. Currently at Jackson's I would get Rembrandt's version (or Sennelier if you don't mind non vegan paint, it contains honey).
